Welcome!
 My
name is Suzanne Gazzolo and I offer
counseling and consultation for
individuals, couples, and families.
My office is located in the village
of Wilmette and is convenient to
Evanston, Winnetka, Glenview and
other communites on the North Shore
of Chicago.
I collaborate with people to understand
problems that impact their lives, and to identify
alternative paths and stories that present meaningful
and hopeful possibilities.
My Beliefs about Therapy
I believe people are not their
problems. I also believe individuals are expert in
their own lives while I bring experience and knowledge
about the process of therapy. There are many reasons
people choose to work with me: for clarity, life transitions,
relationships, and particular challenges affecting
their lives.
I think that good therapy requires a relationship of trust and respect, and should be guided by a sound theoretical framework. The principles and worldview of Narrative Therapy guide how I practice.
